An apple a day…

Who doesn’t love biting into a crunchy apple and having that fresh burst of sour hit your mouth? We love apples and what better way to eat an apple than to pick it straight off the tree first? We went out to Belkin Family Lookout Farm, about 30 minutes outside of Boston, for a day of apple picking, and pumpkin picking and even a bit of grape picking.

They can help to reduce skin diseases, they are packed with Vitamin C and A, they strengthen the heart, quench the thirst and they help to lower respiratory diseases such as asthma. So if you can, get out there and go apple picking! It is a fun day out of the city and in the end you will have some healthy apples to eat fresh, juice or bake into a pie!
