One of our favourite things to do (in the whole world) is to get a massage. Not only are massages relaxing but they are good for your health as well. Having a regular massage reduces stress, enhances your metabolism, prevents and eliminates injury and increases your bloods oxygen capacity. We love trying new places and experiencing different techniques of massage. Here are some of the best massage stops you cannot go past in Asia!

Best for Reflexology:
Kathmandu, Nepal – Seeing Hands Nepal
Kumari Marg, Jyatha, Thamel (near Gaia Restaurant).
For a completely different massage experience head here. Seeing Hands is a UK based charity who strive to provide training and employment opportunities to young people who are blind. Because their sense of touch is heightened by their disability, the masseurs can pinpoint exactly what is going on in your body and focus on what is out of balance through presure points in your feet. They also have relaxing full body massages where your muscles are worked exactly where they need to be.

Best for Full Body:
Bangkok, Thailand – Wat Po Traditional Massage School
361/33-34 Maharach Road, Prabarommaharajawang, Pranakorn.
For a traditional and proper Thai massage with the stretching, pounding, pulling, joint techniques and all the rest of it then this is the best place to go. Here you can enjoy a traditional Thai massage for around $15 or if you are interested you can book into a massage course for a few days.
Ubud, Bali, Indonesia – Spa Aoioki Bali
At the end of Lotus Lane, just off Jl. Wenara Wara.
This is a small, cute spa located just off the main shopping strip and is run by the sweetest Japanese lady. The full body massage here is so unwinding we fell asleep. A traditional Balinese style massage will be just what the doctor ordered after exploring Ubud.

Best for Pampering from Head to Toe:
Luang Prabang, Laos – L’Hibiscus Spa
45 Sakhaline Road, Luang Prabang.
For 7 days we had at least one massage here every day (only $8/hr) – so there’s no wonder it is perfect for indulging in some ‘me time’. Enjoy facials, mud wraps, full body massages, hair treatments, manicures and pedicures all for the cost of nearly nothing. We spent almost five hours relaxing and enjoying treatments for less than $50 per person. Can’t complain!
